I am humbled to follow in the footsteps of the inspiring leadership shown by the late Chief Derrick W. Diggs. I pledge to honor him by continuing to build on his crime reduction strategies that are intelligence driven, focusing on the factors and people generating crime, along with a robust community engagement component. By working together with the citizens of this great city, we can make this community the safest and most enjoyable place to live and visit in Southwest Florida.
