(Fort Myers, FL: December 6, 2010) - Monday, December 06, 2010 at 6:25 a.m. the Fort Myers Police Department received a call in reference to a robbery. It happened at 4301Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard. The victim, an off-duty FedEx driver, was walking across the street to get in his box truck when an unknown man wearing a ski mask grabbed his shoulder bag containing personal items. The suspect then ran south towards Colonial Boulevard. Police setup a perimeter utilizing the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit and a K9 Unit. Some of the victim’s items were recovered near Colonial Boulevard but the suspect was not located. The victim was not hurt.
