Patches Minimize

The Fort Myers Police Department salutes law enforcement patch collectors around the world. This hobby has grown enormously in recent years, and collectors request patches from our agency on a daily basis. Because of the overwhelming demand, the Fort Myers Police Department is no longer able to contribute to personal collections. We regret that our patch will not be a part of hundreds of personal collections around the world. We wish all patches collectors well in this positive endeavor. Patch collection is a tribute to our profession, which we appreciate. Our agency simply cannot dedicate the time or resources necessary to meet the demand for patches.
The only time the Fort Myers Police Department will contribute to a collection is for a display in a law enforcement agency or government building. Anyone requesting a patch for this purpose can send a letter on agency stationary, indicating that you will display the patch in your building. Please address the letter to: Community Affairs Office, Fort Myers Police Department, 2210 Peck Street, Fort Myers, Florida 33901.

Because the number of requests from overseas is growing significantly, collectors from outside the United States are asked to send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your letter of request.
