On May 1, 2014 at 4:50 p.m. the Fort Myers Police Department received a call reference a teen that had run away from the Pace Center for Girls located at 3800 Evans Avenue. School officials advised Hispanic female Gineliz Pacheco (d.o.b. 12/19/1998) left school abruptly after causing a disturbance.
Mechanics working across the street at 3811 Fowler Street heard the commotion and observed Pacheco get into a green 2001-2003 model Ford Windstar and leave.
The ensuing investigation discovered the driver of the Windstar came into the business just before picking up Pacheco who was inquiring about work on his van. When the business couldn’t help him he went out in the parking lot to leave and was approached by Pacheco. At this time police believe the driver of the vehicle was a stranger to Pacheco.
The driver of the Windstar is further described as a black male possibly Haitian decent in his 50’s wearing a light colored collared shirt with dark slacks. He is 5’8” to 6’00” tall with short black hair.
Pacheco is 5’00” tall weighing 100 lbs., has dark hair and was last seen wearing a black and yellow shirt with maroon pants.
Pacheco has run away once before in FMPD’s jurisdiction on 7/11/2013 and returned the same day.
Anyone with information on Pacheco’s whereabouts is asked to call the Fort Myers Police Department at 239-321-7700.
