Police Need Help Identifying Robbery Suspects

On Monday, April 28, 2014 at 3:19 a.m. the Fort Myers Police Department investigated a robbery at the Travel Lodge located at 4760 Cleveland Avenue. Upon arrival police learned three subjects entered the business concealing their identity with masks. One subject armed with a handgun jumped the clerks counter and demanded cash from the attendant while the other two robbers removed a stand-alone ATM machine located in the hallway.

The three robbers fled in a light colored large passenger van toward Cleveland Avenue. There were no injuries during the incident and the robbers took an undisclosed amount of cash. 

Police would like the public to review the attached surveillance photos of the suspects and their vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to a call FMPD Detective John Price at 321-7742, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS or text message C-R-I-M-E-S (274637) Keyword FMPD.  Tipsters can remain anonymous. Anyone with information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the robbery suspects could be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
