Police Investigating Homicide

On Friday, November 15, 2013 at 8:36 p.m. the Fort Myers Police Department responded to a shooting at 2210 Cuba Street. Upon arrival police located one male victim. Officers began cardiopulmonary resuscitation; however Lee County Emergency Medical Service pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Police cordoned off the crime scene and an investigation is underway. Witnesses describe a possible suspect vehicle as a blue or gray Chrysler 300. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS or text message C-R-I-M-E-S (274637) Keyword FMPD. FMPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a person or persons responsible for any homicide in the City of Fort Myers. Tipsters can remain anonymous. No further information available at this time.
