Police Investigating Murder

On Friday, September 13, 2013 at 3:28 p.m. officers were flagged down in the area of Ford and South Streets in reference to a male that had been shot. Officers located Aaron Addison (d.o.b. 10-20-90 of Fort Myers) who was the victim of gunfire. Officers along with emergency medical services attempted lifesaving measures but Addison was pronounced dead on the scene. Witnesses report a four door white vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Police cordoned off a crime scene and the investigation is underway. FMPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a person or persons responsible for any homicide in the City of Fort Myers.
