The Fort Myers Police Department is proud to present a campaign to get citizens involved in crime prevention. STOP THE VIOLENCE - The Red Wristband Campaign is an effort to encourage conversation about living in a better community. Talk to your family, your kids, neighbors, co-workers and other members of the community and show your support by wearing a red wristband. Everyone plays a role in crime prevention. Be the eyes and ears of your neighborhood, stay alert and report suspicious activity.
Tanya Cola, Coordinator of the Dunbar Neighborhood Watch Group, provided the vision for this project and we hope to find more residents ready to work with police to STOP THE VIOLENCE. For more information or for a wristband contact Crime Prevention Practitioner Gretchen Lorenzo at 278-7830
