FMPD Update on Homicide Suspects


The Fort Myers Police Department reports it has located one of two individuals it recently highlighted in a release to the media. Ernest Foster (date of birth December 3, 1991) has been located as a person of interest in an active homicide investigation at 2210 Cuba Street. The FMPD Homicide Unit is still seeking the public’s assistance locating Curtis Thornton (date of birth January 31, 1989) as an additional person of interest in the ongoing case. 


If anyone knows the whereabouts of Thornton, please contact Detective Mali Langton at 239-321-8015 or call the Fort Myers Police Department non-emergency number 239-321-7700.  Individuals with information regarding this case can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477) remain anonymous, and be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.00.
